Use Your Own SMTP Servers (For Email Distribution)

When sending your project out using the  Email Invitations method of distribution, you can choose to use your own SMTP servers.

Note: This is an advanced setting, and requires some knowledge of coding.

How to Use Your Own Servers

1. Open a Project

2. Go to the Send stage
3. Scroll down to ‘Emailing to your Address Book’
4. Click ‘Use Your Own SMTP Servers (advanced)
5. Toggle the ‘Use Custom Server’ button to ON
6. Choose whether to send a test on save (optional)
7. You will then need to fill out the following fields
  • Host
  • Port Number
  • Security Type
  • User
  • Password
8. Click ‘Save and Send Test’
