Page Logic
What is Page Logic?
Section titled “What is Page Logic?”Page Logic allows you to set the next page respondents should see once they finish the one they’re on, i.e. where they go when they click ‘Next Page’. It’s shown in the builder as Default end of page skip to:, and is used as the destination for any respondent who doesn’t trigger a more specific Question Logic rule on that page.
Example:

You’ll see a setup similar to this when you click the Question logic tab in the Form builder’s sidebar. It lists every page in your form, in order, along with:
- Default end of page skip to: — the Page Logic destination for that page. Defaults to “Next Page (Default)”.
- Below that, any question on the page that has Question Logic applied — click Show question logic to expand it and see each answer’s destination. Pages with none simply read “No questions with logic”.
In the image above, “Did you enjoy your visit?” has Question Logic applied to its “No” answer, sending those respondents straight to the “More Details” page — skipping “Feedback” entirely. Since nothing overrides it, everyone else (anyone who picks “Yes”) falls through to that question’s page-level Page Logic, “Next Page (Default)”, and carries on to “Feedback” as normal.
Note: If no Page Logic is applied to a page, respondents are sent to the next chronological page as listed in the Show all tab.
How to apply Page Logic?
Section titled “How to apply Page Logic?”Note: We recommend that you give each page a unique title, so there’s no confusion when you come to applying Logic.
-
Open the Form tab and click the Question logic tab in the sidebar
-
Find the page whose default destination you want to change
-
Open its Default end of page skip to: dropdown

-
Select a destination — any page placed after the current one in your form, or one of your Exit pages
-
Your choice saves automatically
If you also want specific answers to override this default for particular respondents, add Question Logic to those answers from the Show all tab instead — Page Logic only decides where everyone else goes.
Important Notes for Using Logic
Section titled “Important Notes for Using Logic”- Exit/Thank You pages will not be listed alongside Question Pages in the Question logic tab. If you need to visit and edit these, use the Show all tab.
- Page Logic (and Question Logic) cannot send respondents to pages that are placed chronologically before them in the Show all tab, e.g. Page 1 can send respondents to Page 2 or Page 3, but Page 2 can only send respondents to Page 3 and not to Page 1. For this reason, we’d suggest planning your form on paper before starting, if you intend to use a substantial amount of Page Logic.
- Question Logic overrides Page Logic if they conflict.
