Welcome Message

Every page in your survey, form or quiz has its own title at the top, and you can greet your respondents or provide any relevant information they may need before starting by adding a ‘Heading / Greeting’ item to your first page — this is the item people usually mean by a ‘welcome section’.

This item acts like any other question or content item in your survey.

You can add text to both the heading and description fields, insert hyperlinks and add emojis to really make this section your own.

How to add a welcome section

1. Open the Form tab in the left sidebar
2. Click ’+ Question’
3. Select ‘Heading / Greeting’ under Content Items

You can then move this to its own page or section.

How to remove a welcome section

You can remove the welcome message the same way you would delete any other question in your survey or quiz, by:

1. Open the Form tab in the left sidebar
2. Click the drag-handle icon (⋮⋮) to the left of the item you’d like to delete — this opens the item’s menu
3. Select Delete

This action can’t be undone, so make sure you’re completely sure about this choice before hitting that delete button.
