How to Delete Content Blocks in Emails

In this article, you’ll learn how to delete a content block in your emails.

Deleting content blocks

To delete a content block:

1. Click a block (a blue border will appear around the content block)
2. Click the trash can icon — it appears both in the small floating toolbar next to the block and in the header of the options panel on the left (alongside Duplicate and Close)
3. The block is deleted immediately — there’s no confirmation dialog

Caution

There’s no warning message before a block is deleted. If you delete something by mistake, click the Undo button (top-left of the email canvas) straight away to bring it back.

Note

Some blocks in system-generated emails — for example the survey button, the physical address, and the Unsubscribe link in a form invitation email — don’t have a trash icon at all (only Duplicate and Close). These are required for the email to function or to stay compliant, so they can’t be deleted from the options panel.
