Closing a Project
Closing a project will disable any further respondents from providing responses.
Closing a Survey or Quiz
Section titled “Closing a Survey or Quiz”- Click Forms in the top navigation to open your Dashboard
- Optionally, select Surveys or Quizzes under Views in the sidebar to filter your list
- Click the project you’d like to close — this expands its actions
- Select Close
- Press Stop Collecting Responses to confirm, or Cancel to back out
Once closed, the project is marked Closed in your project list, and the Send action is disabled until you re-activate it.
Can a Project Close Itself Automatically?
Section titled “Can a Project Close Itself Automatically?”Yes — you can schedule a closing time, a reopening time, or a maximum number of responses instead of closing the project by hand. See Scheduling a Project to Open or Close Automatically.
Can I Re-Open/ Activate a Closed Project?
Section titled “Can I Re-Open/ Activate a Closed Project?”Yes — click the closed project in your Dashboard and select Activate. Read more about How to Re-Activate a Project.
If I Copy a Project, will it Still be Closed?
Section titled “If I Copy a Project, will it Still be Closed?”Yes, any duplicate made of a closed project will also be closed to any respondents.
