Why is there no previous page button?

If your form has more than one page, your respondents have access to both the Next Page and Previous Page buttons.

This is true even on pages reached via Logic branching — clicking Previous Page takes respondents back to whichever page they actually came from, with their previous answers preserved, and doesn’t re-trigger Question Logic unless they click Next Page again.

If you’re not seeing a Previous Page button, it’s most likely because:

  • Your form only has one page — with nowhere to go back to, the button isn’t shown.
  • You’re on the very first page of the form.

There’s currently no builder setting to hide the Previous Page button beyond that. If you need respondents unable to revisit an earlier page (for example, to stop them changing a consent answer after the fact), design that page as a one-way step using Logic rather than relying on the navigation buttons — About Logic explains how.
