How to Add and Edit Questions
Once you’ve created and named a survey or quiz, you’ll need to start adding questions.
Adding a New Question
Section titled “Adding a New Question”
- Open the Form tab in the sidebar
- Click the ‘Question’ button (with a + icon) beneath your last question
- Select a question type from the Question Library
- Enter question and answer text in the builder
Note: Your form will save automatically, to stop you from losing any work.
Typing Text Directly
Section titled “Typing Text Directly”You can also click the empty “Click to add text or a question” area on a page and just start typing. This creates a Paragraph text block containing what you typed. If you actually meant to ask a question, click the “Convert to question” button that appears — this opens the Question Library so you can pick the right question type, with your typed text carried over as the question text.
If you want to switch a question’s type after adding it, you can do this without recreating the question:
- Click the question you’d like to change the question type of
- Open the “Item / Question type” dropdown, shown above the question next to the image and video icons

- Select a new question type from the same Question Library shown above

Section titled “Question Settings”Clicking a question in the builder will reveal its settings inline, in the sidebar beneath it:
