How to Insert Images

There are two ways that images can be used to enhance your project. Firstly, they are utilized by the Picture Choice Questions as answer options. Secondly, you are able to insert images as a Content Item.

Image Field

The latter cannot be interacted with by respondents, and are used to provide additional information or improve the visual design of your project.

The Image Library stores any photos you’ve uploaded to the site, and also lets you search a library of free stock photos. It can be opened by inserting an Image item into your project and clicking ‘Choose Image’.

  1. Open the Form tab
  2. Click ‘Question’ to open the question picker, then select Image under ‘Content Items’
  3. Click the ‘Choose Image’ button in the builder
  4. Select an image from your Image Library, or search the ‘Photo’ tab for a free stock photo

Note: This will place the image where the image element field was previously.

How to upload new images to the Image Library

  1. Insert an image element into your project (steps 1 and 2 above)
  2. Click ‘Choose Image’ (this will open the Image Library)
  3. Switch to the ‘Upload / My Gallery’ tab
  4. Click ‘Browse for Files’ (or drag and drop a file onto the panel)
  5. Select a file from your device

You can easily replace an image in your project. To do so, simply click the image in your project and the Image Library will reopen. From here, follow the same process for inserting an image.

  1. Open the Image Library and switch to the ‘Upload / My Gallery’ tab
  2. Hover over the image you want to delete
  3. Click the delete (bin) icon that appears in its corner
  4. Confirm on the warning that appears

Note: Deleting an image removes it everywhere it’s used — the app explicitly warns “Deleting image will delete it from ALL FORMS it is used in. This action cannot be undone.”
