How To Make A Survey Anonymous

All surveys, quizzes, forms, and calculators you create are anonymous by default. We don’t even store respondent IP addresses.

So, there’s no specific setting you need to enable or disable.

To ensure your responses are still anonymous:

  • Avoiding collecting personal information, such as name and email addresses.
  • Don’t enable tracking when sending via email invitation.

Collecting personal information in anonymous surveys

Section titled “Collecting personal information in anonymous surveys”

Usually, if you collect personal data in a survey, the responses are no longer anonymous.

However, with our Pseudonymization feature you can store personal data and responses separately.

Allowing you to know who has responded or update your contact records without knowing responses to other questions.

You’ll find this toggle in the Builder, under Settings > Privacy & Security > Pseudonymization.
