How to Collect Anonymous Responses

Anonymous surveys encourage honest responses, allowing individuals to express their thoughts and opinions freely.

Note

Responses are anonymous by default, we don’t store respondent IP addresses or any other personal data.

How to ensure responses remain anonymous

Whilst survey responses are anonymous by default, you should follow the below guidelines to ensure they remain anonymous:

• Don’t ask for personal information (such as names and email addresses)
• Don’t ask for information that could indirectly identify respondents (e.g. job role or home address)
• Don’t enable Tracking when sending email invitations
• Enable Pseudonymization — found under Settings > Privacy & Security in the builder

Tip

Pro Tip: If you enable Pseudonymization, you can still collect personal information (like names and email addresses) whilst keeping other response data anonymous.
