Show or Hide Email Content Per Device

You can choose to show or hide email content blocks per device (Desktop or Mobile). By default, the content will be visible on all devices, to hide it you must first switch the view to either Desktop or Mobile.

By default, the email builder will be in the desktop view. You can switch between Desktop and Mobile from the Desktop/Mobile buttons in the toolbar above the email canvas, or from the Desktop/Mobile tabs at the top of a block’s own settings panel once it’s selected — both control the same view.

To hide content on Desktop:

1. Make sure you’re in the Desktop view
2. Click a block in the email editor
3. Scroll to the bottom of its settings panel and expand Responsive Design
4. Enable Hide on Desktop

To hide content on Mobile:

1. Switch to the Mobile view
2. Click a block
3. Scroll to the bottom of its settings panel and expand Responsive Design
4. Enable Hide on Mobile

Note

Only one of the two toggles is shown at a time, matching whichever view (Desktop or Mobile) you’re currently editing in. A block that’s hidden for the view you’re in appears faded out in the canvas so you can still find and edit it, but it won’t be shown to contacts viewing your email on that device.
