Required Data in Email Invitations
When you’re editing your email content, you’ll notice that a couple of pieces of information can’t be selected, edited, or removed in the email builder canvas.
| Physical Address | Inserts the address you added to the Physical address field in the Subject step (under Meta) of your campaign. Clicking this block in the email builder does nothing — it can't be selected, styled, or deleted. |
| Unsubscribe Link | Inserts a link for contacts to unsubscribe (opt-out) of your emails. Like the Physical Address block, it can't be selected or edited in the builder. |
The survey link
Section titled “The survey link”A new campaign also comes with a Take my survey button and a Survey URL merge tag (in the “If you cannot click the button, use the link below” text). Both point to whichever form you selected under Form invitation in the Subject step. Unlike the Physical Address and Unsubscribe blocks, the button and text containing the survey link are regular, editable content — you can restyle, move, or delete them like any other block. We recommend keeping at least one survey link in your email so contacts have a way to reach your form.
If you enable Invitation tracking in the Subject step, each contact gets a unique version of the link so their response is linked back to their CRM profile and you get access to email open-rate and click analytics — this also means responses are no longer anonymous.
